Chinese swimmer star Sun Yang has bee banned for more than four years on for breaking anti-doping rules. The ban was confirmed on Tuesday June 22, following a retrial at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The court's verdict ends his hopes of defending his Olympic title in the 200 meters freestyle in Tokyo next month. Two Nigerian Nationals Arrested in Libya for Drug and Sex trafficking

Two Nigerian nationals have been charged with drug abd sex trafficking in north western Libya. The suspects were arrested during a joint operation conducted by security forces and officials of the Libyan Anti Narcotics Agency in Zintan and Jadu cities on Friday, April 2. The suspects have been handed over to relevant agencies for further investigation and prosecution.

The UK's Metropolitan Police is investigating allegations a serving male officer raped two female colleagues. Three years after the allegations were made, a BBC investigation with the Bureau of Investigative Journalism found that the officer was not charged or suspended, but will face a misconduct hearing. Both women were reportedly involved in ‘abusive’ relationships with the unnamed officer, before being introduced to each other by a mutual friend. The New York State Police has charged a 7 year old boy with rape. The unidentified child, from Brasher Falls near the US-Canada border, was charged with third-degree rape on March 23. Authorities said the incident was first reported on November 26 2020. The little boy has been released and will be tried as a juvenile delinquent according to reports.
