Lightning strikes 12 cows dead in Delta state

At least 12 cows were reportedly struck dead by lightning in Urhodo-Ovu community of Ethiope East local government area of Delta State. A source told The Nation that the herdsmen were seated close to the cows while others were taken to another area of the bush for grazing when lightning struck, killing over twelve of the cows.
