The Lagos State Government has announced restriction of movement across the State between the hours of 8am and 3pm on Saturday, 24th July, 2021. Igangan Attack: How Fulani Herdsmen Killed Amotekun Commander, Three Others

According to a report by SaharaReporters, some gunmen who are suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, who invaded Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, killed four residents including a commander of the South-West security arm, Amotekun. Bandits abduct 14 in Kaduna community

14 people have been kidnapped by bandits at Ungwan Matari within the Sabon Tasha, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.   The bandits who invaded the community which is adjoining Gbagyi villa towards Romi River at about 11pm on Wednesday night, reportedly shot sporadically, broke down fences and windows in a bid to gain access into the houses of the residents they kidnapped.   Among the victims were a landlord and some of his tenants. Immediate past Chairman of Chikun local government area, Samaila Leeman confirmed the number of people abducted from the Kaduna community.   Leeman told Channels Television that 14 members of the community were abducted by the kidnappers and taken away to an unknown destination.

A video which has gone viral on social media has shown moment some soldiers allegedly brutalized residents of Wa in Upper West Region of Ghana over a missing phone. It was alleged that the soldiers launched the attack on civilians in the town in search of a missing phone belonging to one of them. According to one eyewitness, one of the soldiers is believed to have boarded what is referred to as “Yellow Yellow” or “Mahama Cambo” and lost his phone. Herdsmen on Sunday evening of May 2, ran away from Urhodo-Ovu community in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State as thunder strike killed 12 of their cows. The herdsmen and the cows were in their settlement when the incident occurred minutes after the heavy downpour, DAILY POST gathered. Residents of some FCT communities have resorted to fetching water from the streams and rivers due to water scarcity. The scarcity has caused a 25-litre keg of water to be sold for 250 Naira. Residents living in Kubwa, Bwari, Dede, Dutse, Kaigini, among others, are the worst hit and they either have to patronise water hawkers at the rate of 250 Naira per keg or join long queues at public boreholes. Armed bandits have killed seven people, injured many and set houses ablaze in series of attacks in Igabi, Giwa and Chikun local government areas of Kaduna State. The state Commissioner Internal Security and Homes Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, March 11, said that the armed bandits stormed Gangi village, Igabi local government, shooting sporadically in what seemed to be a cattle rustling operation and killed four residents. Residents of Isaba Ekiti in the Ikole Council area of Ekiti State, on Saturday, protested the killing of two farmers by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Friday.
