Thieves who stole Ghc10,000 from their victim, have reportedly returned the money after the incident was reported to a native doctor at Borkor Bullet Hanson shrine in Volta region of Ghana. Revival FM reported that the five robbers who were summoned to Borkor Bullet Hanson’s shrine to confess, initially denied stealing the money. However after a ritual was conducted, one of them admitted to stealing the money. Few hours after leaving the shrine, one of the accused came begging for his life with the stolen money. A British journalist and staff of Muslim Television Ahmadiyaa International (MTA) was shot and killed during an armed robbery in Ghana. Syed Taalay Ahmed, 31, was reportedly ambushed along with a Ghanaian colleague while driving near the city of Tamale on August 23 at about 19:00 local time. After opening fire on the pair, the robbers took their money and some of their possessions before getting into a gun battle with police, who shot two of them dead. At Least 1 Killed as Robbers Storm 2 Banks in Osun

Armed robbers attacked two banks in Iree, Osun state, killing at least one person. The attack began at about 3:50 pm on Thursday,  August 5. Though the banks are situated close to a police station,  the robbers are said to have operated undisturbed, carting money and valuables from the bank before fleeing. The Police in Jigawa has arrested two suspected armed robbers in Maigatari Local Government Area of the state. Ibadan Socialite, Gatuso Killed In Hotel By Unknown Gunmen

Some gunmen on Saturday evening killed a popular socialite, Olaleye Ajibola, popularly called Gatuso, in a hotel on NTC premises, Iyaganku in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
