Hassan Abdallah appointed as Heartland FC coach

Heartland Football Club has announced Hassan Abdallah as new Chief Coach for next season. Coach Abdallah was selected among the pool of coaches that applied for the job. The former player of Kano Pillars, Abiola Babes, Ranchers Bees, Gombe United, Sharks, Calabar Rovers, Rangers International will replace Fidelis Ilechukwu who left the Club at the end of last season. Abdallah put pen to paper for a two-year contract with the Naze Millionaires and he’s in Owerri to meet the mamagement and players.. As a Coach he has had stints with Katsina Spotlight, Kano Pillars and the Flying Eagles of Nigeria in 2005. He served with the U-20 national team at the U-20 world cup in 2019 in Poland as the Scout. He is currently the chief scout of the U-17 National team (Golden Eaglets).

The Blues Sharks will be without the services of the 29-year-old after he left the team's camp in Mindelo over the weekend The Cape Verdean Football Federation have confirmed the departure of Partizan Belgrade forward Ricardo Gomes from their team's camp ahead of Tuesday's 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Nigeria. Gomes is one of the key players in the Blue Sharks’ set-up having scored four goals in 16 matches since he made his international debut in 2015. He has dazzled in the Serbian Super Liga this season, scoring eight goals in six matches for Partizan Belgrade, but he did not play in Cape Verde’s 1-1 draw with Central African Republic on September 1.

AFC Leopards’ Shikanda: FKF should donate deducted points to Kariobangi Sharks

The Ingwe boss scoffs at the decision by FKF to suspend him and further says they don't want points that have been taken away AFC Leopards chairman Dan Shikanda has laughed at the decision taken by Football Kenya Federation to deduct them three points for skipping the Mashemeji derby against Gor Mahia on Saturday. The two Kenyan giants decided to skip the game at Thika Stadium as they demanded the federation gives them their money from grants and also prize money for playing in the final of the FKF Shield Cup. But on Sunday, FKF confirmed they had deducted three points each from the two biggest clubs in the country as punishment and further fined AFC Leopards Ksh 6 million for being the home team and Gor Mahia Ksh 4 million for being the away team.

Pay Us Our Salaries, Rivers United Footballers Beg Nyesom Wike

Players of Rivers United FC this morning stormed the Rivers State Government House to press home demands for the payment of sign on fees for the 2014/15 football season. It was gathered that these monies were owed by the previous administration, before the merger, and during the days of Sharks and Dolphins FC. Governor Nyesom Wike addressed the players personally and promised to look into their demands.
