Insurance Didn’t Cover Lagos Buses Burnt During #EndSARS – Sanwo-Olu

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says state government cannot file for insurance claims on the mass transit buses burnt during the #EndSARS protests in 2020. He, however, said the government would replace the vehicles. According to him, the premium paid on the vehicles did not cover what eventually happened to them. Lagos State Government Releases list of 88 Centers where residents can take COVID19 AstraZeneca vaccine

The Lagos State Government has released a list of 88 centres where residents of the state can take the AstraZeneca COVID19 vaccine. The 88 centres cut across all 20 Local Governments of the State. A statement released by the state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, said the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has been declared safe by the World Health Organization (WHO). He however pointed out that most vaccines have some common side effects, which are not unique to the COVID19 vaccine and which typically only last for 24 to 48 hours. Bayelsa Confirms first Coronavirus Death

The Bayelsa state Government has confirmed the death of a Coronavirus patient from complications linked to the disease. The Director of Public Health in the state’s ministry of health and member of the state COVID-19 task force committee, Dr Jones Stowe who confirmed the death of the patient said the deceased is one of the two military personnel who were among the new cases announced in the state few days ago.
