Banditry: Gov. Matawalle reopens more markets, shops in Zamfara

The Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has approved the immediate resumption of business activities in some shops in the State capital and weekly markets. This was contained in a press statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Kabiru Balarebe. He said the markets include Lalan shops, Garejin Mailena shops and Hanya shops. Kabiru Babai: Oyetola asks Police to produce killer cop

Governor Gboyega Oyetola has asked the Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Wale Olokode to produce the killer police who shot a 33-year-old truck driver, Kabiru Babai in Osogbo on Friday. DAILY POST reported that Babai was shot dead by a notorious Police officer on Friday while he was fixing a company’s truck that broke down along Ikirun/Osogbo road, Ota-Efun area of Osogbo. The Osun State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended the trio of Oyejola Ismail, Awoyinka Ridwan and Aderemi Jelili for burglary.
