One Police Officer Dies after Gunmen Attacked Police Station in Imo

One police officer has been confirmed dead after hoodlums attacked the Divisional Police Head quarters,  Isiala Mbano, in Imo state on Saturday, March 20 at about 6.30pm. The hoodlums stormed the station in their numbers and started shooting sporadically into the air. Operatives of the Division however successfully repelled them. After the encounter, it was discovered that the hoodlums destroyed some doors and windows. Police Deactivate Bomb Planted Inside a Bush in Kano

A bomb planted in a bush at Aujirawa Alkali village in Gezawa LGA of Kano state has been deactivated by the police. The bomb which was found in the early hours of Friday March 19, was deactivated after the police was alerted. Generator fume has killed two students of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) while a third person is recovering at the hospital. President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Monday February 15, announced that Zimbabwe has received its first batch of COVID-19 vaccines.
