2023: You Cannot Get the Presidency of Nigeria by Threats or by Shouting Victim Hood- Gov El-Rufai tells Southeast

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has advised the Southeast to actively engage people from other parts of Nigeria if it has a serious desire to produce the next president of the country. If you look back – of course there are circumstances you cannot control – but what we wanted from our initial plan, we couldn't make it. “Our initial plan was A, it didn't work out. We've tried...

Bishop Oyedepo Speaks On Succession Of Living Faith Church

God is counting every step you are taking. If you want to leave a church as an inheritance for your family, the Church has died. You know I'm a friend of God and so I have a few understanding(s) of his confidentiality. If you read the book 'The Mandate' you will see the succession procedure of apostleship in this ministry. Open, it's in the hand of everybody. When you are 70 as leader of this Church, you present 3 names to the Council of Priests for them to see if any of them is qualified by the Secretariat. If they are not qualified, throw it back to you, you have one more chance to make another presentation and after that, you are out of it. The Council takes it, the Board goes to rectify. It is a process, not that somebody dies and then we don't know what to do. You know wh...

Buhari Leaves Deputy Looking Weak Amid Nigeria Succession Talk – Bloomberg

While Buhari, 76, transferred power to Osinbajo, 62, during his first term when he traveled abroad for medical reasons, it’s the second time he’s opted not to since being re-elected in February. His chief-of-staff, Abba Kyari, this week had to fly to London so that Buhari could sign long-awaited oil legislation approved by parliament. Speculation that Buhari is marginalizing Osinbajo was partly fueled by the president’s decision last month to appoint a new economic advisory council that reports directly to him, replacing a committee headed by the vice president. Nigerian newspapers reported that Buhari, who is on a 15-day private visit to the U.K., this week approved the dismissal of dozens of Osinbajo’s aides. The treatment of Osinbajo since the election “has sent a strong signa...

Defeat on Tuesday, however, has left Ronaldo devastated and he is now expecting a Juventus’ hierarchy to oversee a major rebuilding process in the summer to bolster and ageing squa...

Chelsea ended the game with just three shots on target and 38% of ball possession. Liverpool, by contrast, had five shots on target and 62% ball possession. The win for Liverpool was their first against the Blues at Anfield in several Premier League games. Chelsea did not cause much trouble to Liverpool’s defenders.
