Medical charity, Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Border, has condemned the killing of its staff nurse, Hassan Mohammad, by bandits in Zamfara State. It was gathered that Hassan, 37, and two other passengers were killed when bandits opened fire on a commercial bus along Shinkafi-Kaura Namoda road on Saturday evening, October 2. The MSF nurse was said to be returning to his work station in Shinkafi town when the bandits attacked the vehicle. Footballing super-agent Jorge Mendes, who manages Cristiano Ronaldo among others, has been summoned before a Spanish court as part of the probe into Colombian striker Radamel Falcao’s alleged tax evasion, legal sources said on Wednesday. Monaco’s Falcao is suspected of failing to correctly declare 5.6 million euros ($6.1 million) of income earned from image rights between 2012 and 2013 while he was at Atletico Madrid. He is suspected of using a web of shell companies in the British Virgin Islands, Ireland, Colombia and Panama to avoid taxes on the image rights income. A Committee in the  House of Representatives on Tuesday threatened to handover some companies involved in the procurement of pre-shipment inspection contracts, who allegedly forged tax certificates, to anti-graft agencies for prosecution.
