Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has disclosed the four strikers that will represent Nigeria at the 2019 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Egypt. The AFCON will begin on 21st June with the final set for 19th July. According to Rohr, the four strikers that will represent Nigeria in Egypt are: Odion Ighalo, Paul Onuachu, Victor Osimhen, and Kelechi Iheanacho. Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has sent the first choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho and three others to the U-23 team, Owngoalnigeria reports. Uzoho, whose error led to the only goal scored by Seychelles in Nigeria’s 3-1 win in their final AFCON 2019 qualifier, will start for the U-23 on Monday, with their first choice goalkeeper Abubakar Adamu suspended following his red card in the first leg.
