Gov Ortom reacts to death of ex-Super Eagles star, Imenger

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has reacted to the death of Ex-Super Eagles midfielder and Lobi Stars FC manager, Barnabas Imenger. Imenger passed away at the National Hospital in Abuja on Monday morning after battling a protracted illness. Ortom, in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, said Imenger’s death is a painful loss to Benue State and the country at large. Governor Ortom Tests Positive for COVID19

Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, has tested positive for COVID-19. The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Terver Akase, disclosed this in a statement released on Wednesday, January 27.   “The latest result of his (governor Ortom) COVID-19 test has returned positive. This follows the test results of most of the Governor’s close aides who also returned positive in the last few weeks. Though the Governor has not shown any symptoms of the disease, he has already commenced treatment as prescribed by medical personnel.”the statement read   Akase added the Governor Ortom has advised those who have come in contact with him in the last couple of days to go for a test immediately.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has condemned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II’s statement that the genocide against the Fulani was responsible for attacks in Benue and other parts of the country.
