Fresh F.M. Demolition: Ajimobi, Ayefele Meet; Govt Expresses Willingness To Pay

Towards resolving the crisis created by the demolition of the Music House housing Fresh F.M radio by the Oyo State government, the chairman of the radio station, Dr Yinka Ayefele and Governor Abiola Ajimobi, on Thursday, met at the Agodi Government House. The two-level peace meeting, Tribune Online gathered, was facilitated by a top governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Joseph Tegbe. At the first level of the meeting, it was gathered the governor directed that a new building accommodating the additional parts of the building be approved for Ayefele immediately. Woman Strips To Protest Against Demolition Of Ayefele’s Music House

The Oyo State Government made true its decision to demolition popular singer Yinka Ayefele's Music House in Ibadan and some residents of Oyo state have come out to protest the action of the Governor Abiola Ajimobi. One of the angry residents, a lady, almost stripped completely Unclad as she joined others to place curses on the state government for demolishing the studio.

Yinka Ayefele’s Fresh FM To Be Demolished By Oyo State Government

Yinka Ayefele’s popular structure, The Music House, where Fresh FM 105.9, one of Ibadan’s most lovely radio stations is located, has been marked for demolition. The demolition notice pasted on the structure at Lagos Bye Pass, Challenge, Ibadan, on the orders of the Oyo State Government gave the owners of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk it’s removal by the government. The deadline expires on Wednesday, 15th August. The development is coming at a time the station is extending it’s frontiers to Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
