A student of Caleb University in the Imota area of Lagos State, Oluwafemi Oni, has been declared missing by his family. 21-year-old Oluwanifemi, an undergraduate studying Computer Science in the institution, suddenly sent disturbing messages to his elder sister, Stella, on WhatsApp that some suspected cultists wanted him dead and pleaded with his sister not to tell his parents about the threat. Justice Sikiru Oyinloye of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin has sentenced 20-year-old Udoh Sunday Okon to one-year imprisonment for defrauding an American, Kimberly, to the tune of $500 on Facebook. The Ilorin Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday, August 25, secured the conviction of Udoh for offenses bordering on Facebook lottery scam. Justice Mahmood Abdulgafarof a Kwara State High Court has sentenced an undergraduate, Abdulsalam Oyeyemi to one year in prison for impersonating an American military officer to defraud members of the public. The Ilorin Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had on July 29, 2021 arraigned Oyeyemi, 23, on a one-count charge bordering on impersonation and internet scam. 21 Years old UNN Undergraduate Attempted Suicide after Parents Scolded him

21 year old undergraduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka UNN, Obasi Augustine Chukwuemeka, was prevented from committing suicide at his home on Number 4 Alaba street Ejigbo busstop in Lagos state on January 7th. According to a statement from Bala Elkana, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, an officer of Lagos State Neighbourhood Security Corps, alerted men of the Ejigbo  Police Station that Chuckuemeka tied a rope in a loop around the ceiling fan in his home in preparation for committing suicide because he was scolded by his parents. A swift response by operatives from Ejigbo Police Station prevented him from killing himself. He was rescued and taken to the hospital for medical examination.

Undergraduate Drowns While Swimming In River Katsina – Ala, Benue

A student of the College Of Education, Katsina-Ala, Benue State, drowned in a river on Saturday, February 10. The deceased, identified as Nyitse Orfega aka (De Prince) from Wannune Tarkaa Local Government Area of Benue State, was a 200 level student of the Department of Social Studies. According to eyewitnesses, his friends tried to rescue him but failed. His body was later retrieved by the friends and deposited at the hospital. More photos below…

An undergraduate Babcock student Verishima Unokyur has reportedly committed suicide. Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola‘s husband, Olukayode Salako disclosed this via his Facebook page saying: So Sad! What must have made this boy to take his own life?! What?! He was from a very responsible and financially comfortable home. He was getting good care from his mother?! 22-yr-old Undergraduate Wins Parliamentary Seat in Ghana

An undergraduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, Francisca Oteng has made history as she emerged the youngest parliamentarian in the country. 22-year-old Francisca won the Kware East parliamentary seat under the umbrella of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) polling 70,688votes against the candidate of the ruling NDC who got 1,503 votes.
