Prince Charles and Camilla’s ‘Secret son’ set to Prove his Identity in Brave next Move

An Australian man who insists he is the secret son of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will take the fight to prove his identity, it has been claimed. Simon Dorante-Day was adopted into a family who had ties to the Queen and lived in Portsmouth, England, when he was a child. The 55-year-old told 7News his late grandmother, who used to work for the Queen, told him "outright" that he was Prince Charles and Camilla's biological son "many times." He claims to have been given evidence that shows Camilla became close with Charles in 1965 when the pair were teenagers. Camilla then allegedly disappeared from Britain's social scene for 9 months while Charles was sent to Australia. Dorante-Day is now preparing to take the fight for his identity to the Australia...

Danfo buses will not be scrapped – Governor Sanwo-Olu says

Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that the yellow buses popularly known as ‘danfo’ will not be scrapped as earlier reported, but would rather be remodeled to meet modern standards. Recall that in February this year, the state Commissioner for Transportation, Frederick Oladeinde, said the yellow buses do not have a place in the transportation master plan of the state, suggesting that they would soon be scrapped by the Sanwo-Olu administration. However, during an interview with Channels TV over the weekend, Governor Sanwo-Olu said it will be unfair to scrap ‘danfos’ as they have served Lagos residents for a long time. “It will be unfair for us. These are important stakeholders. They served our citizens. They served Lagosians for a long time. It became the print of...

You Were Unfair to me at Man Utd – Ighalo Fires at Solskjaer

Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo, has said Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was “unfair” to him during his time at Manchester United. Ighalo joined the Red Devils in January 2020 on a six-month loan deal from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua. He impressed initially, scoring five goals in as many starts, a form that saw his loan extended until January 2021. But the 31-year-old started just two games this season before departing. And while Ighalo continues to “love” the Red Devils, he admits he had to leave after he was regularly snubbed by Solskjaer. “There wasn’t much possibility because I wanted more playing time,” Ighalo told Sky Sports when asked if he could have extended his stay with United. “At my age, I want to play and not just sit on the bench and not h...

Mourinho hits out at Arteta ahead of North London Derby

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has dismissed Mikel Arteta’s claim that they have an unfair advantage over Arsenal, ahead of Sunday’s North London Derby. The Gunners host Spurs with both sides looking for three points to keep alive their hopes of finishing in a European qualification spot. Before then, in midweek, they play Europa League last-16 ties, with Spurs taking on Dinamo Zagreb and Arsenal facing Olympiacos. Both sides were drawn to play the away leg from home first, however, UEFA rules provide that two clubs from the same city are not permitted to play on the same day. As a result, Spurs will now play Zagreb at home on Thursday, while Arsenal faces a near-3,000 mile round trip to Greece. Speaking after the decision was made, Arteta who was clearly not ...

Speaking with journalists in Bauchi on Monday, February 22, Isa Yuguda said: "I think the cattle rearers who have been herding for the past 200 years all over the country cannot just wake up in the morning and all of a sudden become AK-47 killers. "And most importantly, the neglect of the Fulani, especially the cattle rearers who are presently giving Nigeria a minimum of one million cattle every day to slaughter and take as beef, their treatment by the Nigerian people have been most unfair. Using Tax From Herdsmen, Farmers To Subsidies Petrol Unfair – Garba Shehu

The Senior Special Assistant to the Media on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said this on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme on Friday. Shehu was reacting to criticisms targeted at the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), who had in his Independence Day speech, said it made no sense for petrol to cheaper in Nigeria than in Saudi Arabia. His stepfather Carsten Jensen wrote on Facebook that Raphael passed away on Friday after he could not be revived. He wrote: "To die young. I guess there’s nothing that makes you see death as unfair and meaningless as when a young person dies. It’s life itself that’s sabotaged. It just happened to my wife, Liz, whose youngest son, Raph of only 25, died last Friday." Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has dragged the government of Nigeria and Cross River state government of governor Ben Ayade to ECOWAS Court of Justice in Abuja “over the prolonged, arbitrary detention; unfair prosecution; persecution, and sham trial of journalist Agba Jalingo.” Jalingo, who is the publisher of CrossRiverWatch, was arrested on August 22 over a report alleging that Mr Ayade diverted N500 million belonging to the state. In the suit number ECW/CCJ/APP/10/2020 filed last week at the ECOWAS Court, SERAP is arguing that: “The sole objective of the government of Nigeria and the Cross River state government of governor Ben Ayade is to perpetually keep Agba Jalingo in arbitrary detention and to silence him simply for expressing critical views and ...

It Will Be Unfair To Deny South-West Presidency In 2023 – Shehu Sani

Former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani on Monday, declared that it would be unfair to deny the Southwest geopolitical zone the presidency in 2023. Sani, a member of the eighth Senate, said it would amount to ingratitude on the part of the North not to support the Southwest for the presidency. Speaking with journalists in Kaduna on Monday, the former lawmaker argued that it would be unfair for the north after eight years to hold on power beyond 2023. “It will be a serious threat to the future and peace of the country if the Northern region continues to dominate the leadership of the nation because of her numerical strength. ...

Calls For Resignation Of INEC Chairman Unfair – NANS

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) says it is unfair to call for the resignation of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over election postponement. NANS’ National Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr Bestman Okereafor, said this in a statement he issued in Enugu on Monday. Okereafor said: “Even though we frown at the manner and timing of the announcement of the postponement, we still consider the decision to be in the best interest of Nigerians. “It is a reality that the postponement of the elections by INEC has in a great way exposed the faces of betrayals and which we expect political parties to be grateful for.’’ The NANS spokesman, however, said that it was on record that this was not the first time the na...

It’s Unfair To Call Me A Playboy – Ahmed Mazloum

Ahmed Mazloum is an unusual person who has done many great unusual things. If it is not unusual for a man with millions in his bank account to embark on no other adventure than to want to be at the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, just for kicks, then ‘unusual’ has lost its full meaning. Because that is what Mr Mazloum, as he is called in some quarters, has always wanted to do, and the Lebanese Nigerian man (he carries passports of both countries) did just that – conquered the Kilmanjaro! Many would have thought him crazy but to Mr Mazloum, who is more like Mr Kilmanjaro, calls himself an adrenaline junkie because he goes after things that get his blood racing with excitement. As the Managing Director of Unitop International Limited, a company that renders marine services and civil constru...

He also promised that his administration would frontally tackle the “unacceptable” security situation in the state. “Our state has never witnessed the kind of backwardness we are now forced into. It is very unfair to lay off thousands of workers at a time when other alternatives are very hard. “Yo...
