Fulani Bandits Give Ansaru Terrorists 10 Days To Vacate The Bush – Sheikh Gumi

Kaduna State-based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Abubakar Gumi, has said that Fulani bandits are at war with Ansaru terrorist groups who infiltrated the northern part of the country. According to him, the vision of the bandits living in the bush is different from the ideology of terrorist groups who infiltrated the country, maintaining that a Fulani man is not fanatical, but more concerned about survival. The Bayelsa State Livestock Management Committee has issued a two-week ultimatum to the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) and other livestock dealers to move their livestock out of Yenagoa, the state capital, and its environs. Kano State Governor Orders Closure of Four Tertiary Institutions

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has ordered the closure of four tertiary institutions in the state. The closure comes a day after he ordered the closure of ten boarding schools in the state following the abduction of over 300 schoolgirls in neighbouring Zamfara State. Members of the NKST Church, Achusa, Makurdi, Benue State, locked their pastor and his supporters out of the church on Valentine's day. They asked him to vacate his seat and leave the church on Sunday, Feb 14. The church members, who were reportedly uncomfortable with the pastor’s methods,  also stopped him from conducting Sunday service, The Nation reports. Gov. Gboyega Oyetola of Osun has directed local council chairmen and political office holders in all local government and development areas of the state to vacate their offices. Oyetola, in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Wole Oyebamiji, on Friday in Osogbo, directed them to hand over to the most senior officers in their respective areas. The governor said that the directive was sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the affected officials on Feb. 5.
