According to The PUNCH, the Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 45-year-old woman, Kafayat Lawal, for allegedly stabbing her 17-year-old daughter Ayomide Adekoya with a broken bottle to death. One of the victims abducted by bandits in Unguwar Lalle village, Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State have been identified as Garba Zolo, a medical worker. The two victims identified as Divine Omajuwa and Husseina Hamza of Geology and Pharmacology Departments respectively were reportedly abducted while on their way to school. They were released on Tuesday at midnight. One of their friends, Stephen Odje, who was in their company, was shot dead during the attack.
