Head of Vigilante in Rumuchiolu Beaten up by men Allegedly from a Local Vigilante Group known as OSPAC

The head of vigilante in Rumuchiolu, Eneka, in Rivers state, was beaten up by unknown men and left bleeding badly. According to a Facebook user who shared the story, the men attacked the vigilante head, named Mr Thank God, at about 3:30pm. The attackers were allegedly from the ONELGA Security, Peace and Advisory Committee (OSPAC), a local vigilante group formed in 2016 to fight crime and cultism in the area. According to Peter Owunnah who shared the story on Facebook. the vigilante was attacked for no reason. He was left with a deep cut in the middle of his head and cuts and bruises all over his body, such that he had blood running down his face, chest, arms, and back. See photos below.

Alfa, Pastor Caught With Human Parts In Oyo

The Oyo State Police Command have arrested a pastor, an alfa and two other suspects for possession of human parts in the state. Two of the suspects, Olapade Saheed, 32, and Olatunji Abiodun, 26, were said to have been arrested with the exhibits at Ayegun Area of the capital city by vigilante men. The human parts were severed from a corpse buried barely four days earlier in the area. Police said an angry crowd on Thursday in Indonesia set a man on fire after they accused him of stealing an audio amplifier from a mosque. The head of the local police’s criminal investigations, Rizal Marito, said that locals chased the 30-year-old man after he was seen emerging from a mosque in Bekasi district, near the Indonesian capital, with the amplifier. “The mosque’s caretaker shouted ‘Thief!’ and people chased him,” he said. The Ondo State Police Command on Thursday paraded a 45-year-old palm wine tapper, Francis Bekewei, his 22-year-old son, David, and six others in connection with the abduction and death of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Olumide Odimayo. Mr. Odimayo was kidnapped last week Thursday by armed men from his Igbotu residence in Ese Odo Local Government Area of the state. He was later found dead on Monday at the bank of a river by youth who also joined in the search.
