I regret that our considerable investments in security are yet to manifest in defeat or considerable degradation of criminals – El-Rufai

Governor Nasir El-Rufai has expressed regret of his administration's investment in security not manifesting in defeat or considerable degradation of criminals in Kaduna state. Speaking during the presentation of the Kaduna State Security Incidents Report for the Second Quarter of 2021, El-Rufai noted that there have been a total of 222 deaths in the state in the second quarter of 2021 resulting from violent attacks, communal clashes and reprisals. A total of 774 persons have also been kidnapped. Security Agents Kill IPOB Militia Commander and Others in Sting Operation

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and their counterparts from the Nigerian Army and DSS in a joint operation on Saturday, April 24, stormed the operational headquarters of Insurgents (IPOB Militias) in Awomama Village Oru East LGA of Imo State. South-East Governors Establish New security Outfit, Ebube Agu, to Tackle Insecurity in the Region

To tackle the insecurity in region, Governors from the South East of Nigeria today announced the establishment of a security outfit called EBUBE AGU. The governors disclosed this after an emergency meeting held in Owerri, Imo state on Sunday, April 11. According to a communique put out by governors of the Southeast, the agency is to oversee and monitor the activities of vigilante groups in the region. 86 Suspected Cultists Arrested in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of 86 suspected cultists in Ikorodu area of the State. 11 pistols were recovered from the suspects who were arrested around 6am on Saturday January 25, by a Special Strike Force on Social Miscreants acting on credible intelligence. The State Police spokesperson, Elkana Bala said the suspects mobilised from Emure and Adamo communities to unleash terror on residents of Adamo community and environs, belonged to rival cult groups;  Aiye and Eiye confraternity.
