Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures against Brighton and Arsenal in February have been postponed.
The games were postponed due to Chelsea’s involvement in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Chelsea disclosed this in a post via their website on Tuesday ahead of their Premier League clash with Watford on Wednesday.
Thomas Tuchel’s side head to the game following a 1-1 draw with Manchester United in their previous Premier League encounter last weekend.
Recall that the FIFA Club World Cup draw was announced on Monday.
Chelsea will take part in the Club World Cup in February 2022, having qualified courtesy of winning the Champions League.
The Blues will face one of Al Hilal, Al Jazira or Auckland City at the semi-final stage.
A new date for both league games will be announced in due course.
