​Watford, Blackburn among clubs clamouring for Liverpool stopper van den Berg

 Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg is wanted by several Championship clubs.

The 20-year-old is likely to leave temporarily before the end of the month, either for six months or the entire season.

According to the Daily Mail, Watford, Burnley, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United are among the clubs who are serious about securing van den Berg.

The center-half is willing to leave the Anfield club, as he knows he will not get regular first-team football this term.

Van den Berg was on loan at Preston for the past 18 months, impressing in the Championship.

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany recently admitted his admiration of the player, but stopped short of saying a deal was possible.
