Masari stated this on Thursday when he received an Association of Christian Women from Funtua Senatorial Zone at the Government House, Katsina.
“As indigenes of the state, you have the right to demand for equal rights and opportunities like any other indigene of the state.
“If you fail to demand for your rights, you are not doing justice to your children, grandchildren and your children yet unborn,” he maintained.
The governor, however, implored them to elect candidates that would do justice to them in the forthcoming general elections.
He also urged them to mobilise other Christian women from the other senatorial zones to present a common position in the forthcoming election.
Mrs. Saratu Liti Ruwan Sanyi, leader of the group, earlier said the Christian women from Funtua zone appreciated the effort of his administration in transforming the state.
